I’ve never really been fond of dressing all in black because I find that details tend to get lost when an outfit is too dark. But top off an all black ensemble with say…a camel coloured coat and it actually works quite nicely.

I had to get in on the bright-coloured pant craze this season. I wouldn’t say they are a wardrobe essential, but they’re just so much fun to wear. Things we got up to on the weekend: scored free tickets to hilarious Irish comedy ‘ The Guard’, brunch at Three Bags Full (sadly, was only average), bagged some bargains at the Book Grocer’s $5 closing down sale and more furniture shopping!

Jacket: Fame Agenda, Vest: Gap, Dress: Rosemin, Boots: DMs
So it’s the middle of winter and I’m surviving in short jackets and tights. And not even wool tights, cheap synthetic tights… with holes in them! What’s going on? I was under the impression I was going to have to spend the entire Melbourne winter in a Snuggy and a pair of Ugg boots. But this is much better as the snuggy just doesn’t photograph as well.

Clem is away this weekend, leaving me to fend alone with my feeble attempts at photography. Here’s a little peek into our new home since settling down in Melbourne. Its been a lot easier to decorate & clean with the smaller space and apart from a few toileting mishaps, Lexie has settled in nicely.
